Hesky is the co-founder and CEO of Aktivate. He is a serial entrepreneur with a passion for building businesses that leverage technology to aggregate communities and deliver measurable local impact. Aktivate is the fourth company that he has launched and he is excited to scale it into a successful business that can enable schools to efficiently run all aspects of scholastic sports administration, while helping provide more students with opportunity to experience the transformational impact of sports. 

Before founding Aktivate, Hesky co-founded CareDox (now School Care) in 2010 with a goal of ensuring that students receive the right medical care at the right time. At its peak, CareDox worked with 6,000 schools, which included over 5M students. 

Prior to his focus on healthcare and education, Hesky built two successful consumer businesses focused on improving users’ day-to-day lives. DailyShopper.com, which later became ShopLocal, was acquired by Tribune and Gannett in 2004. He then founded High Gear Media in 2007, a network of automotive sites and blogs, which was acquired by Internet Brands.

Hesky is a lifelong fan of Liverpool Football Club.
